How do I make repayments using the paybill number?

To make repayments using the paybill number 976950, you need to initiate a payment transaction from your mobile money account or banking app. Enter the paybill number, the Account Number which is your National ID no., followed by the amount you wish to repay, and authorize the transaction. This will be effective from 1st June 2023.

What types of payments can I make using the paybill number?

The paybill number is specifically designated for payments. You can use it to make Loan Repayments ,Springpesa Payments and Loan Application.

What will happen if I make an earlier payment before installment date?

The amount will be held in your repayment account (Wallet) until the due date when it will be automatically deducted to repay your loan. Alternatively, you can request to do a principal reduction via the app(self-service) or call our customer service helpline on 0111 042 700.

Is there a fee or charge for using the paybill number?

Mobile network operator mobile money charges will apply.

What should I do if my repayment doesn't reflect in my account?

If your repayment doesn’t reflect in your account within the expected timeframe of 24 hours, it’s recommended to call our customer helpline on 0111 042 700. They can investigate the issue and provide assistance in resolving any discrepancies.

Can I cancel or reverse a repayment made using the paybill number?

It’s important to contact the relevant parties immediately if you need to cancel or reverse a repayment and follow their instructions for resolution.

Are there any restrictions or limits on the payments to Springboard Capital?

There are no restrictions or limitations on payments to Springboard Capital. For mobile money payments, please refer to the maximum daily transaction value set by your mobile money operator. If you wish to make a payment exceeding the mobile transaction limit, we kindly request you to utilize either the Co-operative Bank account 01136134636200 or the Equity Bank account 0910260844503

What should I do if I mistakenly make an overpayment using the paybill number?

If you accidentally make an overpayment, you should contact our customer support 0111 042 700. You will be guided on the appropriate steps to request a refund or adjust the excess payment.
